Vegan diet
The vegan diet has become very popular these days. More people decide to lead a healthy lifestyle and don’t eat animal based products. Vegan diet is based on plants but there are different types of vegan diet like:
- whole-food vegan diet based on a wide variety of whole plant food
- raw-food vegan diet based on raw fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds or plant foods
- 80/10/10 vegan diet that limits fat-rich plants
- the thrive diet based on plant-based, whole foods that are raw or minimally cooked
Proteins usually comes from meat, in vegan diet they are supplemented by: tofu, lentils, chickpeas, peanuts, chia seeds, potatoes.
If we want to be a
vegan we have to know that preparing vegan meals is far more difficult than
cooking meat. We have to make sure that we supply a sufficient amount of proteins and
vitamins to our body. If we know how to leed a vegan diet it's recomended by specialists because it may help our blood shugar in check, keep our heart healthy and lose weight!
