Vegan diet

 

The vegan diet has become very popular these days. More people decide to lead a healthy lifestyle and don’t eat animal based products. Vegan diet is based on plants but there are different types of vegan diet like:

 - whole-food vegan diet based on a wide variety of whole plant food

 - raw-food vegan diet based on raw fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds or plant foods

 - 80/10/10 vegan diet that limits fat-rich plants

 - the thrive diet based on plant-based, whole foods that are raw or minimally cooked

Proteins usually comes from meat, in vegan diet they are supplemented by: tofu, lentils, chickpeas, peanuts, chia seeds, potatoes. 

If we want to be a vegan we have to know that preparing vegan meals is far more difficult than cooking meat. We have to make sure that we  supply a sufficient amount of proteins and vitamins to our body. If we know how to leed a vegan diet it's recomended by specialists because it may help our blood shugar in check, keep our heart healthy  and lose weight!

    It would be interesting to know if more vegans go vegan to lead a healthy lifestyle, to protect animals or to save the planet. All three reasons are legitimate, of course.
