Article: "Samuel Paty: French schoolgirl admits lying about murdered teacher"
Today I’ve
read an article called: “Samuel Paty: French schoolgirl admits lying about
murdered teacher”. Author writes about last year’s case regarding the murder of
a teacher (Samuel Paty). He was accused of showing students cartoons of the
Prophet Muhammad which are widely regarded as taboo in Islam, and are
considered highly offensive by Muslims. Only after full year we find out that girl
,who accused the teacher, told untruth!
Looking at
the whole story of this case, I became more and more interested in how people
can influence each other. It’s really how one person can lead a guilty or
innocent person to a complete collapse or ,how in this case, to death. A little
13-old girl told that teacher did something inappropriate and it lead not only
the online campaign against Samuel Paty but also teachers death. And what’s
interesting is that the girl was also was under influence of her classmates.
Mabey it’s little odd in this context but I think that is very interesting how humans brain is working and
how small thing can be cause of something much bigger and highly dangerous.

I'm not sure what is more horrible here: the fact that she lied or the fact that you can be killed for showing cartoons in class.
