Article: "Turning plagues of locusts into chicken feed"

Recently I’ve read an article: “Turning plagues of locusts into chicken feed”. Author wrote how huge damages plagues of locusts are making in Kenia. Since 2019, East African countries have faced huge swarms that cause devastation. Very large swarms can extend over 2,400 km and can contain nearly 200 billion of insects. It is a real nightmare for the local people who have started to struggle with avoiding a food crisis because a 100 km swarm can eat as many food as 3.5 million people would eat in a day! The Kenyans began to use crushed  locusts by grinding insects and making animal feed out of them.

It’s a real tragedy and unfortunately, the cause of this terrible tragedy is also the progressive climate change. We really should try our best to care for our planet because there will be more and more such cataclysms.
